We are a hosting the PlantFit Fall Fitness Challenge. Registration is $20. The rules are simple. Get your bodyfat measured by me (Ed Bauer) or Jason Morris today, tomorrow, Monday, or Tuesday. You then have until Monday, September 30th to get measured again. Who ever has the highest percentage of body composition change (body fat down, and lean muscle up) will win! The winner will receive 1/2 of the total registration fees by all registered contestants. The other 1/2 of the registration $ will be donated to Out To Pasture Sanctuary. http://www.outtopasturesanctuary.org/ That means, the more people who register, the higher the donation is.
So in one crisp month-long effort, you can improve your health, your strength, your flexibility, your endurance, your clothes will fit better, AND you’ll be helping all the wonderful animals at Out To Pasture. Plus if you win, you get a lump of cash to go with it. Pretty sweet deal!

PlantFit Training Studio is celebrating its Two Year Anniversary already! Thank you so much for making this happen! During this event, we want to do a few things. First off, we want to show off our space to those of you who haven’t seen it yet. Second, we want to offer a free (yet optional) workout for those new to PlantFit to get a taste of what our workouts are all about. We will also have food for sale from one or two of Portland’s Vegan Food Cart Vendors, and we will announce the PlantFit Fall Fitness Challenge! This will be your chance to learn about how to drop unwanted fat, build lean muscle, increase flexibility, feel better, and have fun doing it. As you could expect, we will also provide information on how to do this on a completely plant-based diet!
The Event starts Saturday, August 31t at 10am. The Free Group Workout starts at 10:30am. Food will be available after the workout, around 11:15am. We will also officially announce the PlantFit Fall Fitness Challenge! Come check out our location under the Hawthorne Bridge and support Portland’s only dedicated Vegan Fitness Facility. As we are gearing folks up for the Race For The Animals presented by NW Veg on June 30th, http://nwveg.org/race_for_animals we will be running again. This time, we are running at the Waterfront. Meet at PlantFit Training Studio as we normally would on Saturday morning at 9am. Then from there, we will make the run as a group. Everyone can run at their own pace so don’t be shy if you are worried about keeping up. This is a fun chance to get outside and practice good healthy habits as a community! See you there!
Hey guys, we will be coaching classes Monday through Friday at both 5pm and 6pm. If the 6pm was getting a little too crowded for you, the 5pm option will open it up for the new folks to join in. We have been completely thrilled with the progressions that everyone has been making! We feel truly thankful that we are able to share in this process of reaching new levels of fitness together! Keep it up everyone. I feel like the PlantFit crew will be setting some serious PR’s this year!
Our next Foundation’s Course kicks off on Monday March 4th! We keep classes limited to 8 people per month, and 3 have already registered. This is your chance to take control of you health and finally stop letting cravings and excuses get the best of you. With 12 classes, in 4 weeks, you will now be conditioned to sticking to a program and have a solid understanding of many new total body exercises. One week from today, The February Foundations Course will begin again on Monday, February 4th at 7pm! We have 8 people almost finished with the January Foundations Course. We will get some testimonials from these class participants to give more of an insight into what these beginner classes offer. We still have room for 5 more athletes to enroll in the February course, so if you or someone you know is ready to jumpstart their fitness, this is a perfect opportunity to do so. The class works at a pace that is appropriate for all beginners in a non intimidating environment. We have two coaches so while one instructs the class, the 2nd coach can help fine tune any movements that need further instruction.
